Sessions across southwest Missouri target chronic conditions

Suffering from arthritis pain, high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol? Step into summer with a better understanding of your chronic conditions.

Mercy is once again sponsoring free, six-week courses in several Ozarks communities starting in June. They’ll each cover topics including managing fatigue, working with health professionals, learning relaxation techniques and practicing healthy eating.

Registration is required for the following courses:

While the classes are free, participants must register. The $20 fee for each course has been waived, thanks to a grant from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the Southwest Missouri Regional Arthritis Center.
